The Butterfly Effect Theory

The butterfly effect theory is a theory that states that when a butterfly moves its wings somewhere in the world it can cause a tornado in another part of the world.

This might sound like an unrealistic assumption, How can a slight change like that one result in a big one such as a tornado?

"In 1960 a meteorologist named Edward Lorenz was researching into the possibilities of long term weather prediction. He created a basic computer program using mathematical equations which could theoretically predict what the weather might be. One day he wanted to run a particular sequence again, and to save time he started it from the middle of the sequence. After letting the sequence run he returned to find that the sequence had evolved completely different from the original. At first he couldn't comprehend such different results but then realised that he had started the sequence with his recorded results to 3 decimal places, whereas the computer had recorded them to 6 decimal place. As this program was theoretically deterministic we would expect a sequence very close to the original, however this tiny difference in initial conditions had given him completely different results.

This sensitivity to initial conditions became known as The Butterfly Effect. This is because it compares to the idea that a butterfly flapping its wings could produce a tiny change in the atmosphere, and trigger a series of changes which could eventually lead to a hurricane on the other side of the world. The Butterfly Effect is a key characteristic to a chaotic system."

Chaos In Our Lives

Here is an imaginary example that will help you understand the Butterfly Effect theory in real life. A man was working in a company where he was mistreated by his manager and after months of being disrespected by his arrogant boss he decided to quit.

Before the man left the company he spoke about it to the other employees and the result was that three other people decided to quit too.

When those people found themselves unemployed they decided to start their own business. After some time and a lot of hard work their business became a very successful to the extent that they started competing with the company they used to work for. Under the pressure of the fierce competition the old company declared bankruptcy!!

Didn't you just notice the Butterfly Effect theory in that example!! The mistreatment of a single employee resulted in the bankruptcy of the company years later.

This is what the Butterfly Effect theory is all about, a small unnoticeable change can result in a very big one later on

Now some of the real life examples

Last but not the least

THIS ARE THE INTERESTING ONES.
  1. JFK Assassination: If The President Hadn't Been Wearing A Back Brace, He May Have Survived.
Fifty years ago, on November 22, 1963, former President John F. Kennedy was assassinated while driving through Dallas, Texas, with his wife and Governor John Connally. He was first shot through the shoulder and chest, and received a fatal shot to the head, killing him within thirty minutes.
Dr. Salyer, who said that the president was still barely breathing when he arrived at the hospital, was surprised to find that JFK was wearing a stiff back brace underneath his clothes. Salyer believes if the president hadn't been wearing a back brace, he might have survived the shooting.
"The first shot that hit him went through the soft tissue of the back of his shoulder and exited through his trachea," Dr. Salyer told CBS News. "That same bullet went through [Texas Governor] John Connally's chest, through his right hand and into his thigh and knocked him completely down in the car." Connally, who fell over immediately after being shot, was spared additional bullets and survived. But Kennedy, whose back brace prevented him from slumping over, was shot another time in the head. "He's still upright as a target because he has the brace on, which makes it possible for Lee Harvey Oswald to hit him with a second shot," Salyer told CBS News. "I think that would not have happened if he had gone down like John Connally did."

How he got that back brace is still a mystery, but some theory says that in 1940 , 23 before he was assassinated, he had an accident while playing sports which is thought to be the driving force behind his never ending struggle with the back pain. If not for the back pain he not have weared a back brace , if he had not been wearing a back brace on the day he was assassinated, he would have slumped or fallen or ducked after the first non fatal shot hit him but instead he stayed upright because of the back brace allowing his body to be perfectly positioned for second shot…

2. World War I outbreak is also a example of butterfly effect

For the past 100 years there has been a sense of astonishment that a seemingly unimportant incident, the assassination of the heir to the thrones of Austria-Hungary by a Bosnian revolutionary, could have such profound consequences, and could trigger a chain of events that resulted in a world war.
Austria declared war on Serbia, which it blamed for the assassination. Russia mobilised its army to support Serbia. Germany regarded this as an unacceptable threat and declared war on Russia and Russia’s ally France. Germany’s inflexible military planning required it to invade France through Belgium. Britain had a treaty with Belgium and joined the war against Germany. Within two weeks all the great European powers were at war.
The role of chance and accident in these events was remarkable. For example, the assassin, Gavrilo Princip, was not standing on the chosen route for Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s car. However, Ferdinand’s driver took a wrong turn and gave Princip the opportunity to carry out his purpose.
So one can say that the consequences of a driver taking a wrong turn were the Great War, the overthrowing of the dynasties ruling Germany, Austria and Russia, the advent of Russian communism and, as a consequence of German defeat, the rise of Adolf Hitler who launched a second, even bigger war to reverse the decision of the first one. All because one driver made one mistake

I WILL RECOMMEND YOU TO WATCH A MOVIE NAMED

BUTTERFLY EFFECT of Ashton Kutcher.

THIS ARE JUST THEORIES ,DON’T FIGHT OVER IT FOR PROOF.
